About Christmas Songs
Continuation of a trend established in 2008 Christmas Songs, spending Christmas decor will be resubmitted in 2011. Economic concerns, rising costs for electricity and a widespread attitude of “needs, wants more” keeps consumers back from spending the holiday decorations. Only 14% said they would spend more money on new decorations in 2011.
Have indicated, 62 percent of respondents said that they did with homemade decorations more or older who do not require new spending to decorate. 87 percent indicated that the Christmas decorations makes them feel better and better to enjoy their holidays. Christmas decorations will be of 93 percent of respondents as an economic activity holiday that has Christmas Songs no value until they see new costs associated with it.
Following the theme sparingly Christmas Songs, 54 percent of respondents indicated that the light displays and decorations that would require the use of power that be the same or less as it was in use a year ago.
88 percent of respondents plan to put a Christmas tree (with lights). Planning of these more than half, 57 per cent use an artificial tree. 77 percent of respondents prefer a live tree on an artificial tree, but the actual cost of the trees is a major problem in these difficult economic times. 33 percent of respondents said they would not have bought a real tree, even if the price for a tree 6 ‘to less than $ 30 – a significant change from previous surveys.
